Overview

Yard Patrol Pet Waste Removal is a business-management app for pet waste removal services. Customer, dog, route, job, invoice, expense, photo, and business records are designed to remain on the user device unless the user chooses to export or share them.

Information handled by the app

Users may enter business and customer information such as names, service addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, dog information, job notes, invoice details, payment records, expenses, and service photos. These records are stored locally on the device in the current release.

Square payments

When a user chooses to collect an electronic invoice payment with Square, Yard Patrol sends the invoice number, payment amount, customer name, and any optional customer email address or phone number needed to prepare checkout to a secure payment service and Square. Payment card details are entered on Square hosted checkout and are not stored by Yard Patrol.

Photos, backups, and exports

Service photos, JSON backups, and CSV reports remain under the user control. Yard Patrol does not automatically upload these items to a Yard Patrol cloud account.

Tracking and advertising

Yard Patrol does not sell personal information and does not use customer information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Security and retention

Yard Patrol uses HTTPS for payment-service communication. Local records remain on the device until edited, deleted, restored from a backup, or the app and its local data are removed. Square transaction information is subject to Square retention requirements and policies.
